**Disclaimer and note on the topic of equality, the economy and health: This article is a microblog intended as food for thought in simple share and snapshot hence digestible character count in form. When you think better you do better, that’s the point.
Economies of Equality Get to Make Health Count
In a world where humanity has the power: everyone gets to be equal. Everyone gets access to things that are basic needs, particularly health. Gratitude DOES NOT cut it in expressing thanks for the service, safety and amenity that all those supporting the majority are doing because they’re doing what they do on the daily ~ to protect and ensure life goes on as ‘normally’ as possible with necessities like health, nourishment and safety.
During the last venture outside I had in public pre-quarantine I acknowledged everyone for their service and brought an extra joyful, kind and loving experience in disposition to each person. It does matter and it does make a difference. Any opportunity to give thanks, commend, acknowledge and express true gratitude towards all those of service, particularly those in and supporting the health and healthcare profession is acknowledgement that goes a long way. Simply connecting with those around you in physical distancing, each act lifts the collective energy and is an act of uplifting health in and of itself.
Now to get all parties on side to a majority vote to FIX aka SHIFT things in civility moving forward so that we are all well and secure in as many ways possible. One thing I’m specifically referring to is HEALTHY FOOD for all.
I couldn’t help but gasp in SHOCK watching “What’s Eating America” last night. I saw Andrew Zimmerman on Bill Maher recently (and again on MSNBC last night) and forgot how horribly some people eat because it’s what’s available, what they can afford, and the lack of education around taking care of one’s health.
I’ll be sharing a separate post on nutrition, and a separate post on what items I believe the cost is going to skyrocket around in the future – which, translates to what to invest in, etc.
