There are life-changing moments and opportunities ALL around us! Challenging times are great teachers and unfolding miracles when you choose them so.
Clinging to certainty and stability is a thing of the past, even for those who once chose stable, consistent, reliable career and income choices. I’ve long been working my resiliency muscle and am grateful for the feelings I am experiencing right now: peace, calm, and gratitude – because of the feelings I’ve sorted through in mind and body years prior.
Service-based professions are ones people sometimes feel are negotiable because the results aren’t tangible in completeness on day 1 and the vision to achieve is far off. The things about service-based professions is that the advice, results and benefits that get injected into business’ and individuals is ever lasting when they are effective and aligned. Like time released medication, sometimes the advice and results are a slow drip – because that’s how many things unfold: growth over time.
I’ve had people ask me if I’m still charging for my services with the economy in the state that it is. My answer is: OF COURSE! I’m still paying for groceries, power, electricity, my dentist when I visit the appointment that got rescheduled – and my advice in service is still worth it’s weight in gold . People are still paying commission on home sales, for their hair to be done, for their gym memberships and for their dogs to get groomed. Business’ with services’ of value are EQUAL.
Rest assured I am doing EVERYTHING in my power from a place of generosity to support as many people as possible – always, not just now.
Additionally I’m offering a few scholarships to those in need of advice, mentorship and feedback (hands on consulting is not part of this in fairness to be clear). If you are one or know any business owner (doesn’t matter the size of business) who needs support right now in analysis or advice, email me why and the impact this support will create. Email 800 words max to sloan@sloanlauinger.com. I will respond to everyone.
