Propaganda or Proper Evaluation: What You’re Feeding Your Mind Matters

Near everywhere in life propaganda is a thing because everyone has an opinion and near everyone is promoting (believing in and recommending) something. The financial markets are particularly susceptible to absorbing the impact of propaganda/here say/bullshit, just as much as they are REAL news and material facts. Consumer & market sentiment can positively impact reality — and also negatively F&CK things UP. Sentiment = sensitive.

I don’t care what channel of news you watch, what paper you read, what viewpoints you adopt – and I certainly don’t give AF what your political choice are. What I do care about is if you are feeding yourself fact or fiction, and applying those FACTS in an impactful way that does yourself and the world better.

This is why it’s SO important to use your values system as a measuring stick to ALIGN with whomever the “trusted” source is. Are your values and beliefs aligned with a particular CEO, reporter, analyst, political or public figure, and so forth? I guarantee whoever you are aligning with you’re picking up their values & viewpoints whether you know  it or not because that person is a) saying what you want to hear/making you feel good, or b) simply repeating the same sound bite 1000x over some it’s sticking for you.

There’s a difference between having something land and having something stick. When something lands — it hits you like a ton of bricks. When something sticks, you’ve just heard it repeatedly.

Next time you see a sign, read something, or hear someone say — everything from “world’s best coffee” to their opinion on climate change, a company’s strategic direction, and so forth — Learn to distinguish fact from fiction and fact from OPINION.

Learn the difference and cause and create material wellness and a ripple effect in positive impact the world needs — not ripple effect of market-spiking, amendment unraveling bullshit.
